How I Spent My Summer Vacation

It’s now time for show and tell.  I tweeted much of my summer vacation, but a few of you have asked how it was. It was great. DS and I had a great time. He loved all the different forms of public transportation in Budapest, trolley buses, trams, trains, etc.

I enjoyed the great locally grown fresh food, great dairy (raw milk, butter, fresh cheese), and the history. It was fascinating to take in old buildings and their metamorphosis over the last years, decades to hundreds revealing much about the history of Eastern Europe.  I also learned more about the Treaty of Triannon than I ever knew.

I posted a bunch of pictures, but they’re everywhere from Twitter, to FB, to random Picasa postings. So here’s a little taste of summer, all in one place.
